Join Fanbase Press and Talented Comic Book Creators for the Latinx Comic Arts Festival 2020 — UPDATE: EVENT POSTPONED

The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting at the Latinx Comic Arts Festival, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Modesto Junior College’s West Campus in Modesto, CA, the event is the Central Valley’s celebration of Latino creators and friends. This FREE comics convention features cartoonists, writers, artists, animators, storyboard artists, and more. Even better, it’s an ALL-AGES, FAMILY-FRIENDLY event open to the community! On March 20 and 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. , we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels, including the recently released Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover which features a study guide by Modesto Junior College’s Dr. Theresa Rojas!

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press table to pick up our comics and graphic novels, including the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the newly released Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover, the 2019 IPPY Award-winning A Geek’s Guide to Cross-Stitch: Journeys in Space, the 2014 Bram Stoker Award-nominated Fearworms: Selected Poems, The Sequels, The Margins, The Gamma Gals, Something Animal, Identity Thief, The Arcs, and Penguins vs. Possums.

In addition, some of the 2020 exhibitors will be Javier Hernandez (El Muerto), Rafael Navarro (Sonambulo, Guns A’ Blazin’), Crystal Gonzalez (In the Dark), Jaime Crespo (Tortilla), Cathy Camper (Lowriders in Space), Professor Latin-X — Frederick Luis Aldama (Latinx Superheroes in Mainstream Comics, Chupacabra Charlie), Luke Martinez (The Ascendant, Storm Riders), 5Meats, Pepe Melan, Isabel, Quintero, Jason Gonzalez, Robert Liu Trujillo, Jose Cabrera, Nicky Rodriguez, Daniel Parada, Qetza Art, Ironclad Press, Daniel Parada, and Henry Barajas, among many others!
