Paul and Corey Cross the Streams: Season 1, Episode 18 [The ‘10s – ‘The Immigrant’ (1917)]

Paul and Corey Cross the Streams is a bi-monthly podcast in which hosts Paul Pakler and Corey Pepper watch and review streaming content – so you don’t have to!

In this final month of the 2010s, Paul and Corey look back at this decade and that of the 1910s. First up, Paul did Corey a HUUUUUGE favor and picked a nice, charming, funny film… that’s only 25 minutes long. Charlie Chaplin’s The Immigrant is a two-reeler from the early days of his Tramp character. (And, it wouldn’t be a Paul film if it didn’t include a scene that the FBI used in its files to show that Chaplin was a subversive Communist sympathizer!)

This Month’s Theme: The ’10s

This Episode’s Focus: The Immigrant (1917)
