Geeky Parent Guide: Family-Friendly Activities on Sunday at SDCC 2018

It’s the last day of San Diego Comic-Con, and we’re here to keep you excited, even if the energy levels are dropping from you, your partner, or your kiddos. There are still plenty of activities to dive into, including world premieres, LEGO action, a costume ball, and sessions for the artists at heart.

If you’re looking for food or transportation options, don’t forget to check out our post from Thursday at SDCC, where there are food options and links to helpful guides to navigate the San Diego Convention Center and the beautiful city its stationed in. Now, let’s take a look at the final day of SDCC 2018 and how you and your family can enjoy some great events geared toward you and your children.

*As mentioned in the earlier posts (including Friday and Saturday), make sure to take note of the location as many SDCC panels are located in neighboring hotels or the local library.

This year’s final day of SDCC includes four sessions – 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:00pm – where families can enjoy short films from all over the world. All of the shorts are animated, live action, or documentaries and guests will also have the opportunity to learn “how kids can make their own films.”

Your San Diego Comic-Con

If you attended San Diego Comic-Con with your family, I hope you had a fantastic time exploring the wonderful fandoms associated within the realm of being a geeky parent or having geeky kiddos. I cannot wait to take my kids to their first convention, and, hopefully, I will be fully prepared for all of their needs.

Being a geeky parent means getting to share amazing moments with our kids, and what better way than to hit up one of the most iconic conventions. If you attended SDCC this year, find the Geeky Parent Guide on Facebook and Twitter and share your favorite moments with us. We look forward to hearing from you!

In the meantime, don’t forget to check out Fanbase Press for all of their coverage from the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con. They’ll be posting updates from this weekend on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and as always, Fanbase Press is your first stop for all things geeky and good.

Until next time, happy parenting and happy geeking.
