#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Mothman,’ ‘Keep Staring,’ and ‘Stealth Hammer’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: Mothman

What it’s about
: After discovering the tampering of a student government election, Ronnie Reed must create the vigilante alter ego MOTHMAN and, much like a moth, find the light in the darkness to defeat the political injustice on his campus.

The coolest backer reward
: By contributing just $50, you will have your own superhero origin story written by the creative minds behind Mothman!

Project #2: Keep Staring

What it’s about
: A kids-on-bikes comic book story where all the core kids are disabled, with LGBT and POC present, as well.

The coolest backer reward
: Cameo character – see yourself in the comic! These cameo spots are going to be hipster cultists, the first Big Bad, which make their appearance at the end of issue #1. This means that you will be getting hipster-ized.

Project #3: Stealth Hammer

What it’s about
: Stealth Hammer is an all-ages comic that tells the story of Jami Taylor, a teenage college student, who finds herself part of a grand legacy of protectors in a world of high-tech gadgetry and supernatural mythology. Think of it like Iron Fist and Invisible Woman combined as one hero in a world of Mega Man meets Thor.

The coolest backer reward
: Origin of a Hero – Along with everything you get in the earlier rewards, you get a “Art of Stealth Hammer” hardcover book that shows concept art, progression of a page from pencils to final colors, character sheets, future story ideas, and so much more.
