#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Scrimshaw Volume 2’ and ‘Shedding’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: Scrimshaw Volume 2
What it’s about: Scrimshaw Volume 2 is the continuation of the post-apoc, science and swordplay adventure on the high seas. Follow Hans and the crew of the Runaway Horse as they navigate the treacherous waters of the New Pacific.
The coolest backer reward: Volumes #1 and #2 plus a Coffee Mug – Catch Up On The Saga. Pledge $40 and receive Scrimshaw Volume #1 and #2 Graphic Novels and the Science Shall Be Our Salvation Coffee Mug. Just like the one Hans sips out of.

Project #2: Shedding
What it’s about: Writer-director Jake Thomas (One on One: A Superman Story) brings you the original motion picture feature Shedding, produced by Erin Brown Thomas (Rekindled) and starring Lex Quarterman (Happy Endings), Karla Droege (Big Fish, Talledega Nights), and Jacquelyn Larson (Scandal, Criminal Minds). Shedding follows the story of a bored house cat who gets the opportunity to explore the outside world through the eyes of a human. Along his adventures, he helps to heal a broken family from their emotional wounds. The movie explores the mind of a cat, the relationships they have with humans, and the way all animals help us deal with loss and longing. Currently in post production, Shedding needs your pledges and support to reach the finish line. We are fundraising for sound effects mixing, music, and festival marketing.
