The Fanbase Press staff is thrilled to announce that they will be participating in Q Con 2023, Southern California’s LGBTQ+ comic convention presented by Prism Comics. Taking place on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Fiesta Hall in Plummer Park (1166 North Vista Street, West Hollywood, CA), attendees will have the chance to meet a host of talented comics creators, cosplayers, and organizations, including David M. Booher (Killer Queens, Canto, Joe Hill's Rain), Tini Howard (Excalibur, Catwoman), Shannon Watters (Lumberjanes, Hollow), Richard Fairgray (Four-Color Heroes), Josh Trujillo (Hulkling & Wiccan, Blue Beetle), Sina Grace (Rockstar and Softboy, Iceman), Comadres y Comics, the Comic Art Professional Society, and many more! Fanbase Press is honored to announce that its upcoming LGBTQ+ coming-of-age graphic novel, Four-Color Heroes, will feature a foreword by GLAAD Award-winning writer David M. Booher (Killer Queens, Canto), as well as an essay by clinical psychologist and media consultant Dr. Drea Letamendi on protecting the mental health of LGBTQ+ youth.

Taking place on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., attendees will have the chance to meet a host of talented comics creators and organizations, including Eisner Award winner John Jennings, NAACP Image Awards winner David G. Brown, Eisner Award nominee Norm Harper, Comadres y Comics, the Comic Art Professional Society, Christie Shinn, Don Walker, and many more! Be sure to stop by the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels, including award-winning titles like Ripple Effects, Nuclear Power, and Quince, as well as meet Quince creator Sebastian Martinez-Kadlecik! The team will also be participating in incredible panels, so be sure to check out the programming schedule below.

The amazing folks at CA-based comic book retailer Collector’s Paradise have generously invited the Fanbase Press team to join them - alongside talented creators Jordan Hart (creator/writer/colorist - Ripple Effects), Norm Harper (writer - The Sequels), and Kristian Horn (artist/host - Part-Time Fanboy Podcast) - for a Free Comic Book Day signing at their Winnetka location on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting once again at WonderCon 2023, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from March 24-26, 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Small Press SP-99), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels, including award-winning titles like Ripple Effects, Nuclear Power, and Quince, and meet the creators!  The team will also be participating in lots of incredible panels, so be sure to check out the programming and signing schedules below

Fanbase Press is thrilled to announce that its first Graphic Medicine series, Ripple Effects, has been named as a finalist for the 25th annual Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards in the Graphic Novels & Comics category. As part of its mission to discover, review, and share the best books from university and independent publishers, Foreword Magazine, Inc. hosts an annual awards program each year. Finalists represent the best books published in 2022. After more than 2,000 individual titles spread across 55 genres were submitted for consideration, the Finalists were determined by Foreword’s editorial team. Winners will be decided by an expert team of booksellers and librarians—representing Foreword’s trade readership—from across the country.

Award-winning publisher Fanbase Press is thrilled to make its return to the Latinx Comic Arts Festival (LCAF), alongside a number of other talented independent creators and artist from across the US! Taking place on Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Modesto Junior College's West Campus in Modesto, CA, the event is the Central Valley’s celebration of Latinx creators and friends. This FREE comics convention features cartoonists, writers, artists, animators, storyboard artists, and more. Even better, it’s an ALL-AGES, FAMILY FRIENDLY event open to the community! Each day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels, including the 2022 International Latino Book Awards winner Nuclear Power!
