Join Fanbase Press and Talented Indie Creators at the East End Art and Comics Takeover on October 22, 2022

The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting at the 2022 East End Art and Comics Takeover, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona, CA, the event is a celebration of comic books that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators and is FREE and open to the public. We will be meeting readers at the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels, including ADVANCE copies of the graphic medicine series, Ripple Effects!

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press booth to pick up copies of the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the multiple award-winning Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover, the 2022 International Latino Book Award-winning Nuclear Power trade paperback by co-writers Desirée Proctor and Erica Harrell (Marvel’s Voices: Comunidades, Deadshot: Mercy) and illustrator Lynne Yoshii (Marvel’s Voices: Identity), the 2014 Bram Stoker Award-nominated Fearworms: Selected Poems, The Sequels, A Geek’s Guide to Cross-Stitch: Journeys in Space, The Margins, The Gamma Gals, Something Animal, Identity Thief, The Arcs, and Penguins vs. Possums.

In addition, you will not want to miss the other indie creators, writers, artists, and publishers who will be exhibiting their work at the convention, including illustrator/publisher Robert Roach (Menthu), writer Madeleine Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), writer/artist Eddie DeAngelini (Collectors), artist Ray Anthony-Height (Wakanda Forever), Don Nguyen (Pablo the Gorilla), writer/artist Don Walker (Dork Empire Ink), inker Larry Welch (Endangered), illustrator John Jennings (Kindred: A Graphic Novel Adaptation), writer/illustrator/publisher Keithan Jones (KID Comics), writer/director DeWayne L.
