Fanbase Press to Launch ‘Between the Panels’ Interview Series

Fanbase Press is thrilled to announce the launch of “Between the Panels,” a bi-monthly interview series helmed by Kevin Sharp (Bookmarks, The First Line, After Dakota) that highlights comic book creators of all experience levels, providing insight into their creative process, working space, passion for the sequential art medium, and more.

“I’ve spent a lifetime around stories and their authors, from screen to stage to video games to journalism,” says Sharp.  “Through it all, though, comics have been my first love. What I want to explore in ‘Between the Panels’ is another kind of story: the one that brought each artist/writer to this point in their comics journey, and also how they create — not just what they create.”

The inaugural interview for “Between the Panels” will feature artist Emma Kubert (Willowbrook, Army of Darkness) for whom the sequential art medium has become a family business, following in the path of grandfather Joe Kubert, father Andy Kubert (Dark Knight III, Marvel 1602), and uncle Adam Kubert (Action Comics, Wolverine).

Subsequent interviews will include Heather Antos (Editor for Valiant and Marvel), Corinna Bechko (Green Lantern: Earth One, Invisible Republic), Drew Rausch (Sullengrey, Zombie Tales), Leonie O’Moore (Lord, From Savage Seas), Chris Anderson (Lost Angels, DevilSkin), Madeleine Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), and more.

The first edition of “Between the Panels” is now available on Fanbase Press at www.fanbasepress.com.  Subsequent editions will be released every other Wednesday.
