Geeks Care: How You Can Help ‘Raising My SuperKids’

When Fanboy Comics is not providing you with the latest in geek news and entertainment, the FBC staff hopes to offer our readers a myriad of opportunities to give back to the community. We love reading comics, watching movies, and playing video games, but we are never happier than when we are able to help others in need. With Geeks Care: How You Can Help, FBC will provide you a variety of causes that would greatly appreciate your time.

In this week’s edition of Geeks Care: How You Can Help, I would like to call attention to the Raising My SuperKids mobile social media game project, which came into existence with the mission to raise awareness and funds for various causes in the US and around the world.  Created by Alain Nguyen and Social Media Applications, LLC, a dedicated organization and team with over 30 years of game development experience, Raising My SuperKids is a new, free-to-play mobile social game that allows you to help charitable foundations and other causes raise money online simply by playing.  In order to make this game a reality, Social Media Applications has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the necessary funds to fully create the application, and they have also named J.C. Lee (daughter of Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee) as the Honorary Chairwoman of the project.

Raising My SuperKids will be available for the iOS and Android platforms, allowing players to select their own SuperKid, explore and discover their child’s superpowers, and raise and train them from infancy through adulthood. Exciting and unanticipated challenges will await game players as they delve into their child’s mysterious persona. Players will solve problems, gain confidence, and create their own unique stories as their SuperKid journeys through life.  Most notable, though, is the fact that while players navigate through the game, the designers will use cause marketing to raise funds and awareness for charitable causes.

Readers interested in learning more about Raising My SuperKids may visit the official website.  In addition, those interested in donating to the project’s Kickstarter campaign may do so here.

Everyone here at Fanboy Comics wishes the best of luck to Social Media Applications on their Raising My SuperKids Kickstarter campaign and their endeavor to bring greater awareness to charitable organizations.
