The crew of the Enterprise has allied with the Borg?! Who could have mediated such a volatile negotiation? That genius is none other than our verbose Doctor.
Due to the Cybermen's vulnerability to gold, the crew heads to Naia VII, the gold-rich planet where we began this adventure. Once they get there, the Doctor must once again play the role of diplomat to convince the native people to donate their resources. In his true fashion, he humorously rambles how this would be beneficial to them.
Once all of the negotiations are finished, the Doctor must travel back in time to the Battle of Wolf 359 to board a Borg cube. He and the Ponds go back to get information from their computers that will be integral to releasing the Borg from Cybermen control. While on the ship they encounter a face-to-face confrontation with a major Star Trek villain leaving us with a cliffhanger that will make you anxious for next month's issue.
