The tag-team combo of Michael Walsh and Jordie Bellaire continues to make the artwork pop. Season 10 is one of the best-looking series out there, hands down. The fifth issue is intense. The fourth issue left us with its foot on the pedal, and the fifth keeps barreling forward. Harris keeps you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know what Deacon (Scully’s kidnapper) has been planning. It looks like Chris Carter and Joe Harris have a lot of great things in store for this series. The mother of the conspiracy theory genre has returned! With Season 10’s success, I hope it opens the door to the possibility of more X-Files in other mediums. There’s been talk of the possibility of a third movie, and I have to be honest, after reading Season 10, I’d love for them to have Harris write it. He’s proven that he’s got the characters down pat, and he definitely knows how to weave an intricate story. I can’t recommend this series enough.
