Previously in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Casey Jones came to the turtles after being beaten up during his father's latest intoxicated stint of violence. True to his aggressive idiom, Raphael sets out to find Casey's dad in order to prevent him from doing this again.

This may come as a surprise to you, dear reader, but I happen to be a huge Doctor Who fan. On the other hand, I have not been the biggest Star Trek fan. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy most of the movies and what episodes I have seen, but I have never been devoted enough to consider myself a Trekkie or Trekker. But, when I heard that IDW was doing a crossover between the two I said, “Make it so.”

I thought that “The Power of Three” was the best episode so far in this series of Doctor Who. It maintained that great balance of silly and terrifying that the show is known for. There was also a great mystery, which kept the tension going throughout the entire episode. It was also refreshing to finally have an episode of this series set in present day.

As with the previous two episodes, I enjoyed “A Town Called Mercy”; however, it felt too isolated from everything else and added to the detachment that this series is suffering from.

As with the last several issues of Invincible, we gained more information on the time Monster Girl and Robot spent in the Flaxan dimension.  In these flashbacks, we see how the many decades of ruling over the Flaxans have strained the relationship between the heroes.  Over the years, Robot has spent more time focusing on Flaxan political problems while growing more distant from Monster Girl.

“Robot Jez and Mark on a spaceship!” This was the text that Fanboy Comics Contributor Jake Thomas sent me as soon as he finished watching the newest Doctor Who adventure. The second episode of the new series is aptly named “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship,” as it features a spaceship full of dinosaurs.

Doctor Who has just returned with the first episode in Series 7 titled “Asylum of the Daleks,” and my first reaction is confusion . . . and I am not yet sure if that is good or bad.

The latest character in the Turtles universe to get the focus of a micro-series issue is Fugitoid. Issue #8 in the micro-series shines the spotlight on Fugitoid.

Like all guys my age, I grew up on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles have been a part of my life for pretty much as long as I can remember, and, to be honest, I think that IDW's current comic book is the best iteration yet.

The last issue of Star Wars: Darth Maul - Death Sentence ended with Darth Maul's gleefully sinister grin at the prospect of fighting Jedi.  Issue #2 picks up moments later, as we are thrown into the resulting battle.  The incredible action sequences in this issue give the series an adrenaline boost of epic proportions.
