#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘And It Snowed’ and ‘The Red Opera’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: And It Snowed

What it’s about
: And It Snowed is an urban fantasy crime fable about a pair of siblings out too late at night in London, trapped between the demands of a loan shark on one side and the snowy wrath of Jack Frost on the other. This frostbitten emotional journey against an inky black cityscape comes from writer Nick Bryan, artist Robert Ahmad, and letterer DC Hopkins.

The coolest backer reward: And It Snowed is the last of a trilogy of standalone, black-and-white one-shots by the same writer with various artists, so the complete set is available from this Kickstarter campaign, along with Bryan & Ahmad’s well-received previous comic The Catalyst.

Project #2: The Red Opera: Last Days of the Warlock

What it’s about
: An original 5th Edition Campaign based on Gothic orchestral stage show of the same name by the band, DiAmorte; featuring a suite of new music to serve as backing tracks to each chapter, performed by the Budapest Symphonic Scoring Orchestra.

The coolest backer reward: We have a limited offering of a hand-made, leather-bound version of the book.
