#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘A Hunter’s Tale’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: A Hunter’s Tale

What it’s about
: In addition to being a railroad dispatcher and an expert marksman, Ryan Claytor’s late grandfather, Charles Kermit Claytor (1905-1999), was also a poet. A Hunter’s Tale was originally a poem written by Charles Kermit Claytor that was adapted and illustrated into a comic book by Ryan Claytor.

According to Ryan, “This is my absolute favorite poem my grandfather ever wrote, and I’ve wanted to “collaborate” with him on this for quite some time. In an increasingly divisive world, this poem shows an unlikely bond between two seemingly disparate parties. It’s about each side reaching out in an effort to understand one another. It’s a timeless ideal I hope to pass along, through my grandfather’s words, through my illustrations, to this and future generations.”
