#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Acausal #1-2,’ ‘C.R.I.T: Intestinal Fortitude,’ and ‘The Murder Club: Useless Deaths’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: Acausal #1-2

What it’s about: Acausal is a 3-issue miniseries. It’s a grounded sci-fi crime comic about a misfit team of cops and criminals who receive mysterious messages from the future. It’s a story about hope, belief, and betrayal, written by John Ward, with art by EV Cantada, and lettering by Lucas Gattoni.

The coolest backer reward: At $100 there’s a story editing tier where you can get digital and physical copies of Acausal #1, Acausal #2, and Dark Fragments, and your name in the thank you section. For story editing, you can also choose to have notes and a one-hour meeting about a TV/film or comic script, or a consultation (and notes) on the science of your story. I have a PhD in theoretical physics and have consulted on many science-based projects.

Project #2: C.R.I.T: Intestinal Fortitude

What it’s about
: C.R.I.T: Intestinal Fortitude is the fifth issue of this amazing superhero book. The series is based on the real rolls of a superhero DnD game played by five friends!

The coolest backer reward: The Righteous Hero Bundle: the pledger will receive the book, t-shirt, and poster!

Project #3: The Murder Club: Useless Deaths – The Collected Volume

What it’s about
: Lisa, a student preparing for her A-levels, is recruited by fellow student Tom who wants to see if they can use their combined intelligence to frame someone for murder. But is she working with him, or being manipulated into a situation that even she can’t figure her way out of?

The coolest backer reward: The comic is already completed, so you are pledging for a finished graphic novel!
