Project #2: Shedding
What it's about: Writer-director Jake Thomas (One on One: A Superman Story) brings you the original motion picture feature Shedding, produced by Erin Brown Thomas (Rekindled) and starring Lex Quarterman (Happy Endings), Karla Droege (Big Fish, Talledega Nights), and Jacquelyn Larson (Scandal, Criminal Minds). Shedding follows the story of a bored house cat who gets the opportunity to explore the outside world through the eyes of a human. Along his adventures, he helps to heal a broken family from their emotional wounds. The movie explores the mind of a cat, the relationships they have with humans, and the way all animals help us deal with loss and longing. Currently in post production, Shedding needs your pledges and support to reach the finish line. We are fundraising for sound effects mixing, music, and festival marketing.
