#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘KITH + KIN: An Anthology,’ ‘Starlite #1,’ and ‘Ninja Bear: Volume 1’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: KITH + KIN: An Anthology

What it’s about
: KITH + KIN will be a gorgeously illustrated, limited color, 104-page comics anthology that unearths what lies beneath the family tree, exposing the devilish behaviors knotted at the root. Written by Brittany Matter and Heather Ayres with 10 artists across 10 stories, KITH + KIN brings together the monstrous family drama of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein with the dark shades of sadness and heartwarming messages of Tim Burton’s Big Fish.

The coolest backer reward: The Belle of the Ball, The Book! There’s a limited-time Early Bird Special for it, too!

Project #3: Ninja Bear: Volume 1

What it’s about
: Ninja Bear is the story of a little bear, trained as a ninja, on a journey to confront the devious Black Mage, and avenge his mentor. On the way, Ninja Bear meets weird creatures, explores amazing places, and occasionally saves the day. Ninja Bear is an adventure series heavily inspired by old-school Saturday morning cartoons, video games, and folklore from around the world. If you’re a fan of franchises like Legend of Zelda, Hellboy, or similar, then you may very well find yourself a fan of Ninja Bear.
